Clear and a bit cool, around 50. Should hit about 70 by the afternoon

Tonight I’m in Treasure Island, Florida, on the Gulf coast near Tampa. I’ll be here for seven nights – taking a bit of a travel break. Staying at a Residence Inn (think studio apartment with full kitchen) right on the beach.

Leaving Key West after another wonderful visit. Even with cruise ships in port every day, it really didn’t feel very crowded, which I liked.

Today I drive to Melbourne, Florida, where I’ll spend one night on my way to Treasure Island on the Gulf Coast.

Yeah, it’s probably the most touristy place in Key West, but sometimes I like touristy 😏
