French onion soup and a southern classic (and one of my favorite dishes), shrimp & grits 😋

I had a wonderful 30 days here in Madeira Beach, though truth be told, just a couple of weeks would have been plenty. Started getting antsy to be back on the road.

Today, I’ll drive from here to Savannah, Georgia, where I’ll spend three nights, followed by Atlanta, Georgia, where I’ll also spend three nights.

I should be back to making regular blog updates for the remainder of my trip. As of now, a rough outline of my planned remaing stops puts me back in the PNW about the first week of May, though of course, plans my change.

In the three weeks that I’ve been here I’ve experienced a wide variety of weather – high temp of 80, low temp of 30, wind, rain, lightning and morning fog. Looks like it will be quite nice for my final 10 days, however. I leave of the 16th.

Yes, I was just there in December, on Christmas Day. However, since it was so crowded on that visit, I really didn’t get to see everything that I wanted to. Made up for it yesterday.

For those of you unfamiliar with EPCOT, it’s one-half science & technology themed amusement park and one-half permanent world’s fair. My favorite Disney Park.

Unfortunately, this far east, the moon set before totality. Still, it was a cool sight.
