Wonderful museum

Part of the Henry Ford Museum Complex in Dearborn, Michigan, Greenfield Village is a collection of historic buildings brought in or built by Henry Ford in the early 20th century. Though some are reproductions, most of the buildings are original. Wonderful place.

50 or so years ago you could find these restaurants in nearly every state, if not all. While most have closed over the years, there’s still a lot of them in Michigan.

Today I leave Traverse City and head to Dearborn, Michigan, where I plan on spending at least one day at the The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. Other than that, this is going to be a rest and recharge break. I’ll be spending four nights in a “suite” style hotel, in a room that’s much more like a small studio apartment than a hotel room. Living room area, dining area and a full kitchen. It will be nice to take a break from restaurants for a few days.

I thought a bit of meat and cheese would be a nice, light meal. Well crap!
