In Jackson, Mississippi

BBQ again. Smoked brisket, green beans and absolutely amazing smoked mac and cheese 😋

I’ve decided that two days in a Gulf coast casino doesn’t really count as “visiting Mississippi”, so today I’m going to drive to Jackson, Mississippi, where I’ll spend two nights.

Jackson isn’t from from here so I’m going to drive to Mobile, Alabama first, and avoid freeways for the entire drive.

Today I’ll drive from New Orleans to Biloxi, Mississippi, where I’ll spend two nights at the Golden Nugget Resort/Casino.

Since it’s so close, I may take a more meandering route to get there.
