From Lubbock, Texas to Santa Fe, New Mexico. I’ll spend three nights in Santa Fe with a probable day trip to Taos on of my two days there.

One of the loviest cities I’ve visited so far on this trip. I’d love to come back sometime when it’s not so crowded.

My next destination city is Santa Fe, New Mexico, but it’s too far to drive in a single day so tonight I’ll make a stopover in Lubbock, Texas.

The riverwalk on Sunday morning (all of yesterday’s St. Patrick’s Day revelers were probably still in bed), the Alamo, parts of San Antonio that aren’t the riverwalk and of course, a bit more of the riverwalk, just because it’s so damned cool…

So far in Texas I’ve had gulf coast seafood in Galveston and real Texas BBQ in Austin, Driftwood and Lockhart. Today, Tex-Mex in San Antonio. What says Tex-Mex more than fajitas?

One more night here in San Antonio, then one night in Lubbock Texas, followed by Santa Fe New Mexico on Tuesday.

One of the coolest cities I’ve visited this trip. I especially liked the riverwalk, although in the heart of downtown it was way too crowded.
