Road Trip Day 202 – Something Different
Today I’m leaving the car in Cocoa Beach and taking a 7-day Caribbean cruise onboard the Norwegian Cruise Line ship “Epic”. Â My itinerary is as follows:
- 12/16 Depart Port Canaveral
- 12/17 At Sea
- 12/18 At Sea
- 12/19 Falmouth, Jamaica
- 12/20 George Town, Cayman Islands
- 12/21 At Sea
- 12/22 Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas
- 12/23 Return to Port Canaveral
Traveling with a large group (50+), only two of whom I actually know (friends from college days, nearly 40 years ago). Should be a great time!
Road Trip Day 201 – Lunch in Titusville
One more time at Dixie Crossroads 😋

Road Trip Day 200 – Lunch in St. Augustine
Decided to drive A1A up the coast to St. Augustine for lunch. Shrimp & Grits at Harry’s Seafood Bar & Grill, my favorite restaurant in the city.

Road Trip Day 199 – Glad To Be Back In Florida
I’ve had steamed shrimp all up and down the Atlantic coast, from Ocean City, Maryland to Key West, Florida and these are by far the best. Old Bay (I think), perhaps some other spices, melted butter, served warm with lemon and cocktail sauce. 😋

Road Trip Day 198 – Back to Florida
Today I fly from Seattle to Orlando and then drive to Cocoa Beach, where I’ll spend the next four nights.

Road Trip Day 189 – In Seattle
Back in Seattle for a short break, I’ll be here through the morning of December 12th, when I’ll fly back to Orlando.
Since this visit to Seattle is all about visiting family and friends (with routine doctor and dental appointments thrown in), I’ll likely not be posting anything on the blog until I return to Florida.
Road Trip Day 188 – Today’s Drive
Isn’t a drive at all. Rather, I’ll be flying from Orlando to Seattle. I’m traveling to Seattle for multiple reasons – Doctor’s visit (routine checkup), Dentist visit (cleaning) and on Thursday, December 7th my mother will be 80 years old.
I’m planning on spending ten nights in Seattle, flying back to Orlando early in the morning of December 12th.
