Perfect end to a perfect day. A dozen James River  (Chesapeake Bay) oysters and a glass of wine. This may have been my favorite food day this trip 🙂😋

Carolina BBQ (again). Pulled pork, North Carolina spicy vinegar sauce on the right, South Carolina mustard-based sauce on the left, with collards and bacon roasted brussel sprouts. 😋

Carnitas Benedict – slow cooked pork over cornbread with poached eggs and a sausage infused hollandaise. With a side of cheese grits. Amazing!

Wilmington, North Carolina to Charleston, South Carolina. Since it’s a fairly short trip, I plan on avoiding freeways as much as possible

An interesting take on buffalo wings – buffalo drumsticks (or as an homage to Rod Stewart, “Hot Legs” 😏). Great idea!

A Carolina coastal classic – Shrimp and Grits. Wonderful!
