I spent most of my day in Central Park. Wonderful place, a great retreat from the otherwise crowded, busy and hectic city. Loved it.

I also saw Grand Central Terminal, the United Nations, the East River (which separates Manhattan from Brooklyn) and the Dakota, the apartment building in which John Lennon and Yoko Ono were living when he was shot and killed. Plus a lovely tribute to Lennon in Central Park, appropriately called “Strawberry Fields”.
