Though often called the “Wizard of Menlo Park” in reference to his early work in Menlo Park, New Jersey, the bulk of Edison’s career, over 40 years, was spent at this custom built complex in West Orange, New Jersey. Offices, labs and manufacturing areas have been restored to how they likely appeared at the height of operations, in the early 20th century. There was even a music recording studio.
