Today, for the first time, I used the Hilton app for more than just booking a room. This morning, I used the app to check in to tonight’s hotel, even selecting my room. Then, tonight when I got to the hotel, bypassed the front desk and used the app to unlock my room door. No keycard required. Very cool!

Southern Michigan into northern Ohio – every farmhouse and most houses in the small towns were all having yard sales! Many looked like large, well organized events, as if they do this every weekend. Then after a maybe 50 mile stretch, not a yard sale to be found. Weird. 

Today I drive from Dearborn, Michigan to Indianapolis, Indiana. No real plans for Sunday except laundry and maybe a grocery store trip. Monday, however, I’m going to go to the Indiana State Fair.

A bit of a longer drive than normal today because I’m going to attempt to make the drive without using freeways. May change my mind mid-day, however.
