Road Trip Day 54 – How I Share My Trip

I’ve begun to re-think how to post updates on my trip. Here are some issues:
Instagram kinda sucks for what I’m doing:
– Limit of 10 photos per upload.
– When more than one photo uploaded, limited to square format (rather than portrait or landscape).
– Upload only from phone/tablet, not from laptop. Most of my photos are taken from a DSLR which means after processing, I have to transfer the photos to my phone.
– Apparently Instagram plans to resolve the first two issues, but until they do, I’ll not be using it anymore.
I like my blog on WordPress which has been automatically sharing the posts to Facebook, but this also has a problem. If the blog post contains more than ten photos, Facebook displays only the first ten, you have to go to the blog to see the rest.
So, I’ve disabled the WordPress automatic share to Facebook and instead I’ll manually post on my blog and Facebook. Of course, after awhile I may find yet another method of sharing my trip.
